Even though the "hands facing space" principle is certainly a part of our daily routine There's no doubt the confidence of Rotary has been growing and more people are making face-toface connections. Rotary has indeed changed. We are still uncertain about how our work with humanity will incorporate the highly valued human connections which Rotary Members enjoyed during the previous years. Though the old adage of 'hands faces will certainly continue to be a component of our practice, it's evident that trust is growing and connections between face-to-face are being made. Rotary is also changing. Rotary networks help to build lasting friendships. While maintaining our online meetings for business purposes but we have reintroduced the social aspect and services with a more secure face-to-face format. For the sake of building a better future for Rotary and our members, we've tapped into to take advantage of the pandemic as well as our traditional routines. It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75 percent of Rotary clubs intend to keep their "business regular" activities. In the summer months, many Rotary club members have been seen with their families and friends, working on various initiatives, including beach and river tidy-ups and trash pick-ups. Rotary as well as many other clubs, has helped me build an extensive network of individuals with the same values as me and who have made genuine connections in the last 20 years.
